Thoughts on wheels for a noob

    Hey

First post, but i've been on for a couple of weeks since i got my Astra Mk4 for christmas, great wife that she is

2000 X Midnight blue, LS 5 door - 40k on the clock hardly used IMO.

Anyway.....I'll post a pic of how minted it is if needed :P

I was looking at wheels last night, and I saw Wolfrace Sprint wheels that were multispoke with a blue trim, being sold by someone on here. I just wanted to know what you thought of them or if anyone has them already and they could let me see what it looks like??

With my car being a 5 door, i am starting to think its not worth customising but if anyone could change my mind i might re-think it

The site has been great for me, and being a former VXON member i think this hits the spot :P

    Ta Paul

    Hey Dave,

Thanks for the pic, it looks amazing!!
I was thinking colour coded trims. A friend of the family is a car medic person who does custom spray jobs, so he said he would only charge me for the paint so thats good

Thats given me food for thought. My problem is that i'm an IT guy for a private school, so i need to be subtle but making it look good too if you know what i mean.

This is what i want to do to it, regardless of what my boss' think.

    Colour coding
    Panel filter replacement
    Airbox de-restrict
    17" wheels
Drilled & Grooved discs with better pads
New grill (no idea what type yet)
I think a twin tailpipe looks better on Mk4 than single, so i guess a twin.
    Angel Eye HL

Lots of interior changes, but unluckily i have the grey interior and not black, so it looks so dated, i doubt without some serious swapping out, am i going to change the look inside much.

Other than the above i'd be happy for it too look like the above example, as there's a little boy racer in all of us

I just want it too look pro. Can you fit 17's on an Astra with relative ease?

You will get 17"s on No problem Mate!

If you would want a smart but not OTT look have you thought about buying some vauxhall alloys of another Model that had them as standard!

Do you have 4 or 5 stud wheels?

If 4 stud something like this could look good

Hey Dave thanks for taking the time to look that out. Thats exactly the sort of thing i'm going for, well for the short term until i can afford a better set.

Its a 4 stud pattern i have, which limits mt options, but i hear of 5 stud conversions but don't know how much hassle it is

5drs are way better than 3 drs lol. i have the grey interior too but i dont think it looks that bad once your used 2 it. if your thinking of getting grooved/drilled disk maybe you should opt for the 280mm upgrade too to make it more worthwhile.
