In a Pickle with my gte

Right in a pickle well in a sense anyway with my gte. I have come to a point were I have a idea in my mind of how I want it. In my eyes it will be very different to others but reflects what I want from a car.
Butttttttttt and a big one at the, another GTE has caught my eye and I know if I buy it my current one will be left on the back burner and I doubt I will get round to finishing it. Now my idea is to restore my gte to great condition, be it slighlty modifed repaint it its original color and drop the v6 in. then sell it on for a little win. And run round in this other gte and work on that.
Or Stick to my original plan and buy a cheep little run around or a van for my daily driver. I have a company van but could do with my own little van anyway.

hmmmmmmm iiwm i would buy the gte cos there aren't that many around (that i see) so to have is is nice and greedy. also if you come to the end of your project and you need a few bits quick they are to hand.

I think you should get it on the grounds of you don't see them very often and you'd be unlucky to loose money on it.

But if you feel like you need a van then it sounds like you've almost made your mind up anyway.

    All my opinion of course

My gte owes me nothing at the min and have near enough every thing in place for the conversion to take place. Main worry is if I buy another gte i.e the wide arch one the shell could be rotten thourgh. I know whats wrong with the one I have and it aint a bad shell.
But you just dont see wide arch mk2's that often. Even with the whale tail.
God im such a 80's love child lol

lol, i can see your point regarding the shell of the mattig, i didn't know if it was a proper job from new or not.

It has been for sale for a long while though so it could have some big issues up close. They don't seem to stick around long when they do come up so possibly it's a bit of a dog??

I would go and see it - if just to satisfy your curiousity and get it out of your system

There used to be a red one that was near park hill flats in sheffield - nice looking car
