    Handbrake slipping?

    Hi all I have a astra t reg 1999, 1.6sxi 16v, at the moment i have no handbrake whatsoever. The garage has told me its the adjuster struts are worn, has anyone else had this problem? If so what can i do?

    Didn't the garage tell you what needs to be done when they told you the adjuster struts were worn?

    I would help if I could mate, but I'm no mechanic and I haven't come across this problem before with any of my cars...

    They just said that the little teeth on the cog are worn which is causing it to slip all the time?
