    ride height astra coupe

    hi i wonder if u can help me. i have a 51 plate astra coupe with the 2.2 engine
    but since i,ve bought it i can,t help thinking the ride height is not right . the car sits so high at the back compared to the front . is this normal ? the car handles ok could be better but the seed of dought is doin me in

    Most coupes are arse high as standard.

    It's only a few of the early turbos, SE1 and a few SE2's that got the lower rear springs fitted at the factory.

    so would that mean you could buy standard springs that are already lower than others?

    You could but it's cheaper and better to buy decent aftermarket ones. H&R and Eibach are the best springs you can buy and they're not bank-breakers either

    I lowered mine by 40mm and have a kit aswell just saying be careful cause I really can't go many places as speed humps and little slopes are a no go. I really get pis*ed off with it!!!!!!!
