    Urgent help needed!

Long story short, lost my locking wheel nut so took the advice off the forum and a friend to smack a socket over the top, compressing the spinning sleeve.

However the sleeve hasn't compressed enough and now the sockets stuck solid on the sleeve but still spinning on the bolt.

    any ideas????????????

take it to a local garage and they should be able to drill all the nuts off in less than an hour depending on how bad they are.

I bought a corsa once that had no locking key and had standard vaux locking wheel nuts, i just welded a tack on each nut to stop the outer part spinning, and then banged a socket on.

Not really very helpful since you already have the socket stuck, but hey LOL
