Sorry mate but thats a load of crap. A £30 HID kit from eBay, will be exactly the same as the £70 kit on that site. Just because you are paying an extra £40 for it doesn't mean its better. You may just get them delivered quicker as they are probably stocked in the UK, whereas on eBay they will be coming from Hong Kong or China. Both those prices are inc p+p

Im with Buckle on this one

Ive bought a total of 10 HID kits in the past few years - all from Hong Kong via ebay and theyve been 100% spot on

most ppl who say the ebay ones are shit actually have no first hand experience of this and just jump on the bandwagon....

id go for hids time n time again regardless of what certain bullshitters on this site say. but then again thats just my opinion

£20 for a cheap set of shitty bulbs or £35 for a full HID conversion!!!!!!

do the decent thing and get the hids (oh and stop reading too much into horror stories u read)

Sharkeyes, they will be DS2's if they are standard lights. But they will already have HID's fitted?

All I can say is that those eBay ones are on the expensive side. If you want something brighter then eBay Xenon bulbs aren't going to cut it. I bought a cheaper set (AceParts) for about £15 delivered. They certainly look bluey-white and I like the colour over the OEM orangey ones, but they're not really much brighter - someone here also suggested the reflective tip on them tends to crack off too but mine have only been in a week so nothing like that for me.

HIDs will be the brightest option, but if you want to stay 100% sure on the MOT/legal side then some uprated bulbs e.g. the Osram Night Breakers are probably the only alternative without changing your headlights too.
