    todays mission...

was to give the car a bloody good wash and check over the car, the car looks a million times better now all the grime has been removed but had a look over the car and came across a few bits and bobs that need fixing.

    the cars an MK4 1.4 16v
    1. the n/s/f outer cv gaitor has perished
    2. the front discs have pitted and the pads are getting a bit low
    3. the sump plugs leaking (noticed i was using a bit too much oil)
    4. the handbrake has way too much travel
    5. the front gearbox mount is starting to perish
    6. the gearbox turret is weeping oil
    7. the automatic choke is sticking
    8. the headlights are misaligned
am going to get this sorted on saturday next week i hope, anyone got any idea how much i should be looking at to get these problems sorted?

yea i cleaned the i.c.v, throttle body but not the egr valve so that may need a clean then. it was a friend that suggested it could be the automatic choke, hes a mechanic so i believed him althogh i did tell him about the egr but he laughed at me!

dont suppose anyone has any of these spare parts lying about do they?
