    cheap(er) AFM for ZLET???

Not the usual ebay crap - well i dont think so

What do ppl think of this

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-MAF-air-flow-meter-sensor-Vauxhall-VX220-0280218051_W0QQitemZ330270562540QQcmdZViewItemQQpt ZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item330270 562540&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66 %3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

they offer 12 month warranty and claim they are NOT refurbished or reconditioned

BIN price £34 or submit offer????

I need a new AFM for a car im working on and also a couple of spares....these seriously look like they could be worth a shot especially if ur getting a 12month warranty

    what do u guys think

3 of these for the price of a Vx one on TC - same 12mth warranty...

    **Just the sensor insert**

How abouts we buy a load and flog em all at 70 quid a pop- still a bargain eh??!

Im not serious b4 anyone gets the wrong idea -

I would be wary mate tbh from past experience having bought an AFM from a small company claiming genuine Bosch, not refurbished etc etc. Turned out it was a refurbished part and didnt work from word go. Got my money back luckily but had to wait 3 weeks to get it.

    So what if it refurished.

It has 12 months warranty on it.

If it was me I would be buying 2. 1 spare and one to fit.

BUT be aware it is just the sensor (Probably why they are cheap) and you need a security bit to remove it.

    Only local to me too.

Might be worth me sorting out a group buy

i think its definitely worth lookin at in more details especially seeing as u get 12months warranty unlike the cheap shit on the rest of ebay with a mammoth 7day warranty!

Had a quick look through the listing and cant see any mention of them being Bosch sensors. I have asked if they are genuine and if they would do a discount on 5 or 10

look ok but id be a little warey tbh! id like to test one on my genden software against my new genuine bosch one and see if the graphs match up! if they did then id get a couple in as spare! could be a real bargain or a real dog! needs a test before id run one long term!

i tried an ebay sensor before, cost £45, and it was pants. the car wouldn't rev past 3k unless you were very gentle with the throttle.

i can get a genuine bosch exchange unit with 12 months warranty for £65 from a local motor factor and they are very good with claims. i had 3 sensors under warranty

with all due respect this thread isnt on about the generic cheap AFMs on ebay

    its about the replacement inserts

we all know how bad the cheap whole AFMs are
