    Aux connetion

    My 2006 mk5 doesnt have a aux connection, but is there any way of putting one in with the standard cd player?

    i would also like to know the answer to this as well... i have a 55reg mk5 5 door hatch with cd30 stereo!
    Astra sold ... replaced with a Skoda ... soon to be replaced with another Vauxhall

    Unfortunatly the early CD30's don't have the ability to have a AUX input. When you can have it Vauxhall need to program it in with tech2

    my van is a 58 plate with a cd30 will that be able to et a AUX port?? if it does were abouts does the wires plug in on the back of the head unit and also how much will Vauxhall charge for the tech 2?

    The aux cable is wired into the factory quadlock connector. I'm fairly certain yours will have the option to add it as i've had the stereo out of a 08 plate van which had the pins there (but not the lead)

    You may get lucky and have to pay around £20 to activiate it, could be double that though depending on your vx dealer

    Have you got just the CD30, or the CD30 MP3. It's the MP3 one that you can add the Aux-In to.

    Hi i have got the CD30 not the mp3 but the pins are on the back of it?? does this matter??
