    Drop links

Made a start on fitting my coilovers today, did the rear then realised with the amount its going to be lowered im going to be needing shorter drolinks so want to know where's the best place to get hold of them? and what sort of money is reasonable?

heres how the cars sitting at the min, front is stock and rear is a guestimate 70mm drop on 19" rims.

Venom Motorsport sell shortened drop links and if you want adjustable ones then Whitline makes those but that are v. expensive. As Marti says there is the Focus option too but i don't know too much about this.

Lee GSi is usung Focus 'links IIRC

Why do you need shorter drop links?

Surely your mounting them in the same place on the strut wither its lowered 10mm or 90mm?
The truth is always the truth even if you haven't realised it yet...

Not necessesarily shorter but ideally uprated, with the bigger wheels and lower/stiffer suspension theres a greater force put on the droplinks while cornering so the the need to be uprated. If i was going all out on handling them swap the anti roll bar aswell but thats not needed for what i intend to use the car for.

    Mansfield, Nottinghamshire,

Yeah not a bad fit to say i guessed the ride height while it was all off the car with no adjustment afterwards, slight scrubbage where the rear bumper mounts but theres only about 5mm clearance anyway so need to raise it slightly once the front are on and get it sitting properly.
