    Few pictures of Costa Rica

With people talking about holidays and stuff I thought I would put a some pictures from mine and Laura's honeymoon in Costa Rica.

When we saw this place in the brocsher we knew it was for us.

It starts with a sort adventure where you stay on a working ranch for a few days and do white water rafting, zip lining, horse rinding and treck's ets to some magical places.

Then for the remaining time stay at a 5 star hotel and relax.

Here are a few pictures from the adventure part:

    Outside our room:

The lookout which no one went to for the sun rise/set apart from us:

One of the amazing sun rises (Just after 5 I think it was):

Laura on one of the horse riding parts of a trip to the National park:

    Part of the hike:

To loads of different water falls inc this one (With our guide):

    One of the local's:

Laura on one of the 'Bridges':

Oh I forgot to mention the National park was about a 30 min ride away and is Volcanic:

Will post some more in a bit

We went the end of September which is the rainy season (The green season) as we wanted to to see the country when it was alive with colour as the hot season everything tends to die back and not be as lush.

We have been told the best time to go January/February time as you get the heat (Although 30 every day was fine for us) and the greenness like we had but little or no rain.

Its hard to describe what its like when it rains. It hammers it down but the temperature stays the same. A few times we were out in the rain and it was a relief.

Here is Laura zip lining in one of the torrential down pours

    Lee it is.

    Everyone is so friendly.

This picture shows me queuing for a cash machine (I am the one in red shorts )with the locals and there were a group of teenagers near that back home would have made me a bit wary but didn't get any bad vibes at all.
Its bizarre, The red scooter that is just about to come in view had a woman about 25 years old riding with about a 3 year old hanging on to her eating an ice cream, both with no helmets.
