    new headlights. which options?

    hi guys

i think the standard astra headlights are pretty shocking, and dont shine that great in the dark.

but im unsure as to what route to go down.

i dont want to spend alot, so the headlights stay the same. i dont want to get new headlights, like angel eyes or morrettes.

so, do i get new higher power bulbs?
or get a cheap HID kit off ebay?

    What are your experiences?

links to items would be ideal

    cheers

This is the last group buy Jamie did.

Not sure if hes doing any more at the moment as I think he's having a bit of a disagreement with his supplier.

Id still PM him for exact details though.

I'm not doing any HID's at the moment due to a disagreement with me and the supplier on my last order so im trying to find another one.

But basically anyone on ebay is fine really. I know a lot of people use a seller called diane shop and dont have a problem with them. But just search for 35w H7 HID on ebay and find your cheapest! If you want a bit more power just search 55w H7 HID. As has been said go for 4300k (Pure White) or 6000k (White with a very slight blue tinge) for the colour choice.

Have a look in the how-to section as i did a how to just over a year ago on how to fit them.

has anyone got a pic of their car with 4300k bulbs on them, cos i was gonna get these, but went for 6000k in the end, as i heard they were the whitest and 4300k had a lil bit of yellow to them! im just curious!
