    Running Rich?

I'm sure my car is running rich as even off boost it's hesitant and kind of kangaroos into action, I'm just wondering what the cause could be, I have a knackered turbo would it be that or could it be plugs, coil pack or something??

I know it's been like it a while as it helped stun my figures on the Dyno run along with the turbo dying

    Anyone?

Well 3.5 run's rich anyway, keeps everything cool, but i'm not sure if it should be doing it when cruising/very light throttle.

They actually run lean that's part of the EDS mapping it's slightly leaner than usual so I don't know what you mean there are you sure?

    Yes, i'm 100% sure.

That's why it's a much safer map than phase 3, 3.5 run's rich to keep the piston's cool, they raise idle to 850-900rpm aswell don't they?

Turbocharged car's can't run lean, if they do they'd melt something, they all technically run rich as standard, target AFR on WOT is 12, i'm sure 3.5 run's around 11.5, stoich is 14.7.

Yeah that's so it idles properly when you have the inlet cam put in and don't need a remap again

Yeah mine are blacker than black all over and get that colour very quickly

It seems richer than it should be as it stuns performance a little until i rag it so what would cause that?
