    Tracker

How much if any would a tracker bring a quote down? is there any specific tracker that insurance company's require, just seeing if its worth getting one before or after as my renewal is due next month.

    Cheers Andy

Just for reference and as I was bored, I just did a quick quote with Admiral with a Tracker and without and it made NO difference to the premium at all

    Interesting......

Varies from insurer to insurer, best Ive had was a reduction of £10, but you dont get a tracker for insurance reduction, you get it so that you get the car back.

Dont think I would want my car back after its been stolen.

Afterall thats why we pay the high prices.

I would much rather have a wedge of cash than an unknown condition car back

Having been on that position of having a stolen car back, its just never the same. It like getting an Ex-bird back, nothings quite as tight as you remember, you dont know what someone else has done with it and you know its had a good spanking since you last seen it.

    loool...

yeah, personally would not bother with a tracker unless its a condition of the insurance because of the dodgy area you live in! If someone nicks my car, i personally hope i never see it again.

I had a tracker on the old coupe (only because it was a dealer demo) and never actually paid the subscription after the first free bit.

If this doesnt go into somebodys signature it would be a hell of a shame!! Quote of 2008 for me hahaha

Back on topic, it does seem to vary insurer to insurer.
