Wheel alignment issue/question on Zaf B

    HI All

My Zafira B has stared to wonder to the left. If steering wheel aligned central, car still drives in a straight line. Let go of wheel, she veers to the left.

Just checked tyre pressure, all seems ok.

Is it wheel alignment or something else?
With wheel alignment I though it was noticeable that the car wheel was not central to driving in a straight line or have I had too much Christmas beer.

    Cheers

    Scott

Does it do it on all roads? Some roads are cambered to the kurb to help to get rid of water. This will give the impresion your car is pulling

Thanks for the quick reply. Just took it for a spin down the dual carriage way as its right by my house. You can see the road slope to the right, yet she still pulls to the left even in a straight line. On a flat bit, she still pulls to the left

I have this too at the moment, to keep it straight the steering wheel is at about 8 and 2 o'clock instead of 3 and 6 if you know what I mean..

I hit a pot hole the other day though and my tyre has started to rub the inner arch on full lock now - worn shocker or weak drop link off the roll bar possibly???

Ok - its just had its wheel aligned as it was out by the details the guys at merit showed me.

Took it -I dont know if its me but feels the same as before. I dont have the issue in that the steering wheel looks out of alignment. When I drive in a striaght line, the steering wheel lines up. If I take my hands off the wheel on what seems a flat road, the wheel turns to the left a few degrees.

I have a motorway journey coming up and wil see then but it is weird.

    Hi

Sorry, need to be a tad clearer. I dont think them doing the traction has made any issue - well none that I saw/felt anyway.

Basically, whats happening, if I am driving on a flat, straight road, when I let go of the steering wheel, instead of the wheel going to 12 oclock, its going to about 10/11 oclock and verring off to the right.

    Tyres look ok.

    Any ideas?

    Scott
