i did that, was there 3 bolts that had to be undone with a tork key? i done the one with the smallest tork key bolt because i havent got a tork key that was big enough for the other two.

The seat bolts are said to be a bad place but maybe someone else can confirm that.

I used a cheaty place behind the drivers side rear light flap. There's a plastic washer clipped on to a screw which seems welded to the chassis. I unclipped this, sanded back the paint and then got a nice flush connection with the amp earth lead rather than the raised connection on to the passenger side light earth point.

Seems to be fine for me, why do you think the passenger side light flap point is so bad?

could just be you have not got a good enough connection to the car... sand the paint away to the bare metal and ttighten nut up fully... should give you a good earth... either that or find a earth wire in the wire harness somewhere ?

if you're running a 0awg kit for some meaty gear, then you'd be better off making a new earting point with something that has a decent sized contact area. Make sure the paint is stripped away though

I've used the Streetwires earth connection blocks, fitted below the rear seat base for my earthing point. Main thing to remember is to clean the earth point back to bare shiny metal, so that you get a good connection.
