    Gte strip down begins

    not done masses today but it has begun, looing for any suprises, rust and getting ready for work to commence. Going to replace the wings, the one is totally rust free, but has the worlds worst paint job on it, easier to replace than sand back, the other had a dink in it and had been pop rivited on. Disconected water hoses and wiring harness. going to drop the legs and remove drive shafts, and get the engine out tommorow. no real concerns on the rust side of things, just a little damage to the inner wing passenger side that needs welding and a little rust starting but other wise very impressed with the condition.

    Luckly im replacing the dash with the one out the caverlier thats in front of the gte, As I have found the heater matrix has been blanked off down to leaking by the looks of things. but other wise its all good.

    Yes Brett I want to get the engine out of it along with the complete sunroof over the xmas period then break/ scrap the rest of it early next year

    Question.... From memory the driveshafts are held on through the hub with a large nut, any idea what size?
