    IE Vs Firefox

Ever since I have used a PC, I have always used IE. I have read on other sites about this firefox browser and was wondering how does this compare to IE?

If any of you have tried both, which one do you prefer? which one has better security? what is the latest version of firefox currently available?

    Thanks

If firefox alone doesn't have enough features to sway you, you need only peek at the virtually endless list of addons. I can't remember the last time I saw an ad for example.

Thanks for replying everyone and Glasgow_Stu for the link. I have downloaded, installed and now running firefox. I have not set it as my default browser just yet, in case I want to switch back to IE. I just hope it does not keep crashing like IE has been for the past couple of days

Where can I find these addons?
