    sony laptop

im after a new laptop as my current one doesn't meet my needs anymore.. had a nice christmas pay out on myself courtesy of my family and intend to put it towards a new laptop.... im after a sony vaio VGN NS11JS, i've seen them in pc world for about 580quid but i reckon i could talk them down to about 520ish.. but before i go has anyone got 1 of these laptops and are they alright performance wise?? i've got a toshiba l100 - 186 at the min and its just crap so am after 1 of these if they'm ok.

    Cheers

i've seen that larkseys but i do have a tendancy to break laptops.. (esp this one now) out of anger lol so id need some kind of insurance on it just incase something happens to it.. i've seen the dell one that does look pretty good aswell, its got a slightly lower processor speed though i think and i want as high as i can get it because i hate having to wait ages and then seeing the laptop crash like this one does... i've seen another one to on pc world... its been dropped from £699 to £587 so i might have a look at that 1 and see if i can haggle it down even more!

and yeah well my 'omans bro-in-law has a sony vaio the ns10 and thats sound like and he's had no problems with that so that why im after one

I'd be carfeful buying from PC world. As currys is in dangerous times and there both the same company. So if you looking insurence just be careful.

As for laptops I dislike sony as I managed 18 sony viaos and they all broke. Since then I've only stuck with Dell or IBM/Lenovo laptops. That is for both work and personal use.

But be careful with PC World Dodgy time for them lot now.

Got to agree with joemailey, do not touch sony, i would recommend getting a dell with 3 year on site warranty, its the best there is!
