    scangauge

    anybody on here got a scangauge fitted?

    if so did they have any problems fitting it?

    ive tried mine and its just saying connecting....

    ive got a 1999 1.6 8v envoy on a s reg

    have a read through the book may need some settings changing, if your trying to find faults with it and theres no faults up it sometimes says that too, have you gone onto gauges yet?

    They only work on 2001 or later cars, the fact it is remining on connecting suggests that it can't connect.

    i was told it worked on my car as it was after 1996

    100% will not work on your OBDI model

    it has to be OBDII compliant which for Vauxhalls is 2000 onwards - ie all Z series petrol engines and not your X series etc

    in the same way a run of the mill cheap OBDII code reader will not work on your car

    sorry to be the bearer of bad news but u can wait for a lifetime and it still will NEVER connect

    on a lighter note though - youll have no problems shifting it on here
