    Coupe side skirts, rubber trim?

Should my Coupe have a rubber trim running along side the side skirt when I open the door? I know the Mk4 Astra does, but not sure on the Coupe as both are missing on each side on my Coupe. It sits near to the kick plate on a Coupe. Cheers
