    Interview Help / Technique

Right just received an invite to an interview on the 19th for a work placement as part of my university degree, as i've never really had a proper interview before and the one when i got a job at Tesco doesn't really qualify as a proper interview... what should I go armed with / wear??

Id say, do some research on the company so that you have an idea about what your specifically do and what your role would be, and what you hope to get out of it, as this probs would be a question they will likely ask you!!

    Dress smartly (suited and booted).

Arrive early, not at the time and most definetly not late, first impressions count more than anythink!!

Listhen to what the interviewer says, give an honest answer to the questions. If you bulls@!t, then not only could you look untrustworthy your also look like a c@&k!!

    thats for starters

Dress smart but not uptight, Feel comfortable in what you are wearing. Show you have a passion for it or learning the job. dont over do it though. And be yourself the person you will be at work everyday not some one false for the interveiw.

Near enough every interveiw I have been to I have been offered the job.

Dress smart, Learn abit about the company.

I'm in a new job and when I started one of the things mentioned to me was that I was just myself in the interview.

I don't lie about things and don't bullshit, If you bullshit you get in over your head and if your in over your head your most likely gonna be unhappy and end up stressed out and most likely getting the sack sooner or later.

Try and remember the persons name so you can call them by their name during the interview looks good especially if there's more than one person shows your paying attention, plus all of the above
