    Question CDTi... 150 / 120... what's the difference ?

    Hi Guys, and Girls.
As you may, or may not be aware my beloved GSi was stolen a couple of weeks ago. I have been desperately looking for another GSi, but cannot find one that ticks all my boxes. Soooo, I have been looking at CDTi's.
As my qiestion states, other than the obvious ie 30 horses.... are there any real differences, or pro's and con's between the 120 and 150 models ??

all the 150's are 16 valvers and most 120's are 8 valvers

150's have more power and torque... get one of them !

Thanx for the replies guys... I still want the GSi, BUT i've been driving a bloody Matiz for 2 weeks now hence looking for anything, if I have the choice it will be an SRi 150, but have seen a couple on nice 120's and didn't want to jump in, and be landed with a donkey.

I will do... mind you, the first GSi I see, i'm chopping the Diesel in !! )
Saying that, i'll probably fall in love with the mpg (do a lot of motorways) and never look back !

The only problem I have with my SRi CDTi 150 (190 with tuning box) is that it's a diesel!!

If I could change the sound of the engine/exhaust, it would be perfect.

The GSi's are great and you can do sooooo much to them but, like you, I do a lot of motorway miles and I like the MPG of the diesel. 1st registered 30th May 07', just clocked up 40,000 miles.
