    Air Intake Pipe, install!! HELPPPPP

I got a new air filter, (courtenay sport) and a veccy intake pipe and adaptor.

However i can not get it the veccy pipe to sit properly at all, its as if its miles too big and the pipes pointing upwards and the filter box is completly skewiff.
theres also a hole in the pipe inlet as well as the adaptor pipe wont sit properly.

    Any one help at all???

    MANY MANY MANY thanks!!!

    Adam

Given it isn't supposed to fit the Astra it may not fit 'correctly' but it should fit together enough to be fine. Mine took some faffing to get it all to fit 'flush' with much help of cable ties on the adapter pipe and the original intake screws bolted through the Vectra intake on the bonnet shut plate.

was the courteney one a panel filter? the veccy c pipe isnt a direct fit as its ment for the vectra and doesnt sit quite right just have a good old fiddle until it looks ok, stuck a carbon airbox on mine to the veccy c pipe fits much better and feels more responsive tbh

Royal mail are a joke at this time of year, we've been having first class items take about a week to turn up and without being rude to courtenay, they weren't the most helpful when something went belly up when i ordered from them.

I had a nightmare getting my veccy intake on, i've got the 2ltr dti and its pretty packed in the front part of that engine bay, with enough shuffling you can get it in though.

Make sure you don't forget to de-restrict the air box
