    Fuel Consumption.

    Dont really no if this is the right place to post a quick question lol but ill give it a shot anyhow as its quite stupid hehe

    I got to drive 55 miles home and i got what about just under a quater of a tank to get home what are my chances gulp

    not good day to leave wallet and all money at home

    by the skin of your teeth, but you'll make it OK mate. I go by 90 -100 miles per quarter tank

    Yeah just stick to fifth, even in 30 zones (I do this regularly anyway) and you'll be fine. Mine's a 1.6 but I can't see the 0.2 difference being massive.

    I change at 2,000 rpm on my 2.0 sri, and dont drive above 50 mph.
    Works a treat.

    Depends what you class as "just under" maybe. But if it's really just under the marker, you should be fine i'd say

    on my 1.8 MK4 i get roughly 100 miles to 1/4 tank also.

    320-340 miles to a tank (hows that work when i get 100 to 1/4?? lol).

    Just out of curiosity, what's seen as the revs to change gear at?

    I'm sure i was taught to change at 2k, but i've read online to change at (for petrol) 2.5k? And Diesel 2k?

    One of them things where everyone will have their own opinion?
