    Cabby help please

A good friend of mine has a mk4 cabby. She is not in the slightest technically minded though, and has a problem. The button for the roof has stopped working, along with the one for dropping all the windows, the heated rear screen, and the interior light. I thought it maybe a fuse, but they are all different ones. Could it be a relay? I seen mention of a control box for the roof, but have yet to find a location of it.

Can anyone shed any light on this?
All these problems happened at once,so she says.

    Thank you

The control unit is in the O/S of the boot.

There's a chance the windows/ roof/ heated window are all linked be a problem with that unit. Probably find it would be picked up by plugging the car into tech2

yeah my cabs playing up too...

the climate control goes off, then when this is off the roof button dont work either the lights wont flash a 3rd time when the alarm is supposed to be set...

its as if the car thinks the roof is down when its not

its hit and miss tho - it comes on after a while then might not go off again for a few days - its got me baffled

can you keep this thread updated please when you find out what it is

ok, just got some info back on my car.

Diagnostic check has come back with a relay fault for the roof which vauxhall will fit at a cost of about £21.
