    Wrapping up presents...

Is it just me who judges by 'eye' the size of paper that needs to be cut for a present?

I can now officially say that I am crap at wrapping up, as at least 1/2 of my presents have had to have 'extra' bits of paper to hide the gap where it hadn't been cut big enough lol

Must be you I roll the present over and work out the amount of paper, then each square shaped present needs 5 bits of tape...

OK I'm sad, but I also reckon I'm pretty good at wrapping presents

i calculate the surface area of each side and then add 2% as a buffer then, map out the shape on the paper then cut... then simply apply as much tape as you can throw at it!

nah only joking... i drive using my eyes, so i measure with my eyes too !

its always better to be to big, as you can trim down if you have too than the other way around

Dont worry I always make a complete dogs dinner of wrapping presents.

The bit I cant do is the triangle shaped folds at each end, but lifes too short for me to really give a shit how it looks as it only gets ripped off anyway.

However my old Auntie used to spend more time complimenting the 'lovely paper' and 'I'll keep that'.

I was therefore not surprised to have my birthday presents encased in the same stuff come September.

Loving the tinfoil idea though - pmsl!
