Extremely low boost on Astra Coupe

Hi guys - I have the following hardware mods, Zafira airbox, full 63mm exhaust and downpipe and front mounted intercooler still with stock software.

I only recently fitted a boost gauge after all the hardware mods and not only did my car with all the above mentioned hardware mods make way lower power figures than a stock Coupe on the dyno but it's also only boosting to 0.4bar and it just holds there, it doesn't overboost and it doesn't drop...

Now this is very low boost indeed, and the car does feel very lazy. The tuners here say that a Coupe with stock software is suppose overboost to about 0.8bar and settle around 0.5/0.6bar. Which sounds about right to me.

So what can the problem be and why is the car boosting so low and not overboosting like it should?

Have you checked the actuator position? Could just need adjusting?

Sounds like a limp mode to me. I would suggest a diagnostic test and vacuum test.

It looks normal to maybe a little overtightened.
The only way to be 100% certain that work has been done properly is to do it yourself.

Looks like it maybe tightened up too much. Try undoing it 1 complete turn at a time and see how it boosts. Do not go to far as it'll bring up a fault and induce limp mode!

i dont know what the previous owner did with the car - but we tried to adjust it back to where it's suppose to be, but still to no avail still on 0.4 bar

how precise is the position really?

set the actuator nut so that 6 or 7 threads are showing and disconnect the battery for 10 mins and then reconnect and retry
