    Radiator Cooling Fan

is there a way to make a fan run constant with ignition on a mk4 astra???

I know on older cars you just used to bridge the 2 lives that went to the fan switch/sensor, is it the same with the newer astra?? can you just bridge the 2 red wires going to the fan?? or is it more complicated than that with newer cars???

might seem like a daft question but why would you want to do this anyway. its gonna be a bigger drain on the battery and your engine should be at a certain temperature for optimum performance etc. I would imagine it could be done though.

because I bought the car with a smashed front end, and now have repaired it, however, the fan from the rad pack i got is diffrent to the one that should be on the car, I cant find the right fan anywhere, so I am trying to make do with the one I have so I can use the car until i can find the right one.

The fan switches are the engine temperature sensors on these cars so no you can't bridge the wires
