    cooling module replacement

hi all, newbie here. i've got a 1.6 16v wagon with a busted cooling module (which switches the fan automatically at high temp, located behind the front bumper). at the moment, my fan is intermittenly on. i'm currenly sourcing 2nd hands in ebay and see that there are a lot of different codes, coming from different engine models (different kW). does anyone know if this is a model and/or engine-specific part? being an electrical switch, does it have to come from a car with the same kW or not necessarily? appreciate any help!

Pretty sure the code on the module needs to be the same
