    Testing MFD display

Ive just got a new/used MFD display through from a newish GSI that from the seller has all pixels working now at the moment its not going to get fitted but i want to make sure that it is as described so is there any means of testing the MFD (with consumption ect) without directly fitting it??.

    Cheers Andy

whats so hard about removing the centre console (you could probs get away with just unclipping it at the top) and disconnecting harness and plugging into new one
