    Disabling a key...

Have seen the threads about reprogramming new/existing keys but was just wondering how I can ensure a key that 'may be out there' is useless to a potential thief. I understand that they may still be able to unlock the car but assume there's a way of ensuring it won't deactivate the immobiliser?

    Cheers

Vauxhall should be able to delete the key from both the remote function and the transponder that lets you start the car
