admiral, elephant and bell dont except pass plus, so even if you have it they wont lower you insurance. I think the more expensive insurers will accept it, but even with it there quotes wont match the 3 mentioned

Might be good to get it just for the experiance, going on the motorway the first time is shite your pants scary!

Anything that has the potential to improve your driving skills is worthwhile, whether it saves you money or not in my opinion.

I'd personally recommend going through the Insitute of Advanced Motorists at some point to sit the Advanced Driving test. This can save you money on insurance, but that aside, it really will improve your driving to a level significantly above PassPlus. Significantly. Sat mine 6 years ago and it really has saved me numerous times!

I have done it, I never saved on the insurance, but them extra 6 hours next to an instructor helps alot.

i did it, it saved me £120 on my insurance on my first car... so i did what any teenager would... took the money, bolted on some second hand 15's (largest the car would take) for £100 and paid the £20 increase in insurance

so yes there is a saving to be had, but i spent my saving straight away

Must be 20 per hour. you need to do 6 hours for pass plus. You can only do it within the first year or so of passing your test.

It does reduce your insurance and gives you the training you need on the motorway. the ammount of bad motorway drivers i see on my travels with bad lane disipline does my head in and causes accidents and congestion.

    DO it

do it, well worth it, having an instructor there when you go on the motorway for the first time is much better than your mates or on your own.
