Hey all, just had a dyno run and I'm a bit puzzled. Dynos here are nearly always at the wheel, and in kW. Anyway - hits peak power at about 4400rpm, then just tries to hold it with the top end being a bit all over the place. Looks to me like something's not right there - bit puzzled.
Figures: Peak power was 140.6kW up from 131.3kW stock, but with a (comparitively) huge increase in power around 3600rpm -> 5000rpm (peak gain about 25kW/34hp at the wheels!). Seems quite shy of the 235hp advertised though - and that a few other charts I've seen have - more like 218 with losses guestimated. Peak torque should be good though.
Any ideas? Or is this normal? Map is the EDS IPF LER 360Nm 200/235hp sports toggleable.
Only mod besides map is derestricted 1.9airbox (70mm samcos, courtenay panel), with standard snorkel.

Dyno operator didn't think much of the map.. saying that it's all in the middle and unusable, down low where it matters hasn't improved at all, and up high only marginally!? I... respectfully disagree with him there. To me it looks like the map has made the peak power available earlier and for a lot longer... the whole curve seems pushed to the left. Does look a lot harsher/rougher though.
Finally a photo of an excel version (roughly copied from graph) in horsepower, with torque guestimated off rough guess of 2000 revs being 54kmh.
