    Concerned...?

just had my car out for a rather spirited blast, bearing in mind im in Germany, with the autobahn so ALL my speeds where legal. Yeah its not big and its not clever, but it had to be done at least once.

Just been pushing 165mph, now obviously i warmed the car up before i pushed it that hard, i've just got back in now, and i've ran her to cool down properly, the concerning thing is, my coolant warning has come on, on the MID, it was full on friday, and after todays blast it has dropped, is this normal? i don't think so, even with driving the car that hard.

I would say that you've probably just boiled some off, thinking how hot your turbo would be at that speed. top it back up and keep an eye on it.

I too have done some speed on an autobahn. I hit 7000rpm... my tom tom told me 172mph... I was spectical, however....

    Speed @ Limit 1st 38.35 Mph

    Speed @ Limit 2nd 67.85 Mph

    Speed @ Limit 3rd 101.77 Mph

    Speed @ Limit 4th 140.44 Mph

    Speed @ Limit 5th 173.64 Mph

    That's at a 7000rpm limit. Ifyou can't see a leak I wouldn't worry about water.
