    colour coding door handles

Ok, so since I've managed to colour code my bump strips, I'm now looking at the door handles, I've managed to acquire a set of 4 off ebay for £25 so I'm shortly going to colour code them.

Now I wanted to know, when I come to paint them, do the handles come apart? ie the part you actually pull to open the door, does that come out the "enclosure" or would it be painted in place?

    Thanks in advance.

Yeah it pulls apart into two seperate bits.

Theres an L - shape metal rod that holds the two bits together, you need to slide it out. it runs horizontal along the top.

ok so the handles arrived today and I've got the paint so I'll be working on these over the next few days and posting pics. I assume since these aren't textured like the bump strips, I don't have to worry about high build primer? I can just go straight at them with plastic primer?

£20 plus P&P for all 4? You could sell on your old ones once you're done and basically it doesn't cost you anything overall.

As for the bump strips (from your sig), you should post in the wanted section think there is a couple of members with spare ones depending if you've got a 3 or 5 doors. I was gonna buy spares just in case but eventually decided to just go for it and buy spares if I screwed my own ones up.
