I have baught a flashing LED from ebay that needs to be hooked up to a switched live ignition source.
Basically, when you switch the ignition on the power is turned off. When the ignition is off the power is live.
Now I have tested it and it al works fine plugged into the red and yellow lead of the headunit. When ignition is on LED is off, when ignition is off LED flashes.
Problem. I have a parrot and when I plug LED into the contacts when ignition is off the parrot powers on. This i'm gussing shouldnt happen but is because the bridging of the contacts. How can I prevent this from happening? I'm guessing the parrot is wired up that way because it needs a constant live feed from the battery.
Cheers in advance guys!
