    Exclamation HELP..part name/number needed please.

My mates got a split in the flexi pipe between the manifold & the Cat on his Z18XE1 (2000 W reg 1.8 16v SXi).
Any idea what this part is called & maybe a part number please so i can look for 1 for him.

    Thanks in advance.

as its a 2000 it could be either X18XE1 or Z18XE

basically X18XE1 has a flexi join & cat on the front pipe

Z18XE has just the flexi on the front pipe (as the cat is built into the mani)

Im assuming u mean the X18XE1

In either cases its just the front pipe u need but just need to esablish which model as one has the cat and the other doesnt

Heres the exhaust layout on both 1.8 models

    X18XE1

    Z18XE

If its just the flexi that is damaged then Id advise goin to a local exhaust place and having the damaged flexi cut out and a new one welded in - a custom exhaust place would be best and may only charge about £30 ish

A replacement front pipe can cost anything from £80-400 depending on which model and where u get it from

Well the part he needs has the cat in it so its not gonna be cheap thats why its best to just get the flexi replaced. Drive in drive out in less than an hour. Easy fix
