Chris youve got A-Z who are based down in Wakey anyway

Heres their ebay link below but if u were to pop down in person (ring/email beforehand) they will probs give u some discount to save on postage

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DP21183-EBC-GREENSTUFF-BRAKE-PADS-ASTRA-ZAFIRA-VECTRA_W0QQitemZ330257876351QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3302578763 51&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2 |65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

I got my Yellowstuffs from this seller and their service was top notch

if u need new discs then theres only one place id recommend and thats MTEC100 on ebay

seeing as u have 5 studs u can either retain the original 280mm ones or if ur feeling flush - get a pair of caliper carriers from a Turbo model which will then allow u to fit 308mm discs. Nothing else is needed - just caliper carriers and new pads and discs - SORTED!

    Discs

    Standard 280mm ones - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ASTRA-G-4-COUPE-ZAFIRA-Drilled-Grooved-Brake-Discs_W0QQitemZ290247183570QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_C arsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item29024718357 0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2| 65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

    Turbo spec 308mm ones - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ASTRA-TURBO-GSi-Drilled-Grooved-Brake-Discs-FRONT-308mm_W0QQitemZ300226612908QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_C arsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item30022661290 8&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301|66%3A2| 65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Pads - then EBC Greenstuffs should be more than adequate for your 1.8

Carriers - this is where youll need to get inventive unless u wanna stump up dealer prices - could at least try though (think they are about £80 the pair) - part numbers being 2 @ 93179706

At least try ebay and breakers - just remember only turbo mk4 models with 308mm discs

Cheers mate you know your stuff.

I will keep the 280mm set up as i dont want the hassle.

Im thinking i have warped discs as i have a high speed brake judder at

70mph to 55mph ive had my wheels balenced twice and still the same?

I think i need to phone flux and see if disks and pads (aftermarket) will

    effect my premium.

I think different discs and pads do affect it, god knows why! You would think better brakes would impress the insurance company and make ur premuims less
    Had a Astra SRI 2.0i 1999, now have a 1994 VW Golf GL 1.8, £460 bargin!

Flux know their stuff so will more than likely just adjust your MVR (modified vehicle report) but not the premium

FFS they didnt adjust my premium years back for all the bodykit etc so brakes wont make a difference - but as with any mods best to inform them than not
