    De restricting airbox

    Just read a thread which mentioned the mods of de restricting the airbox and fitting a vxr air intake pipe could anyone point me in the right direction on where i can find out some details and piccies thanks

    seeing as the how-to is aimed at the mk4 - the principle is the same for your mk5 but u need 2 different part numbers when fitting the larger air intake
    these being main intake: 55558368 adaptor: 55558369

    To be honest I cant hear the difference but Mine is an auto so naybe it didnt make a lot of difference does feel a little more responsive though ???

    Good stuff. Did you fit the VXR intake too?

    Whats next up then? Performance panel filter? Iridium spark plugs?

    No just the iarbox Mod Jam
    will get the filter next but as it is auto dont want to go much further with the tuning side of it
    want to get front and rear splitters and get them on see how that looks
