    Adding MPG/fuel etc

hi guys, this might sound a silly question but is it possible to add a trip computer to my mk4 1.4 ls? my mates got a mfd that displays fuel/mpg etc, will the wiring harness be there or is more complex than just plugging things in?!

At the very least You'll need a different wiring harness, all the sensors & the control stalk as well.
    Not a simple job.

It can be added in it's basic form just as a trip computer. Still need the MFD, at least part or the wiring from the car it comes out of for the MFD and stalk, the stalk obviously and then it needs wiring into the car
