    PWR Intercooler + pipework

    My new intercooler arrived friday!

This isn't quite the standard one that Danny has. This one is the same core and design but the inlet \ outlets were changed from 50mm to 60 mm for me.

I've also got the Fan, fan mount and undertray as per Dannys setup
    See here http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/sh...ht=intercooler
Here's a few pics of the pipe work as well (60mm from the Turbo to the Throttle body)

The cost is rather a lot!

For the kit Dannys has, which consists of the Intercooler (50mm inlet & Outlet)Spal fan, fan mounting bracket and ALL of the pipework from the Turbo to the throttle body, the cost is around £650 inc VAT + DEL.

For my custom version, the cost was just over £600 but that doesn't include the pipework.
The pipe work (including custom 60mm powerpie) has cost me around £200. Although I'm sure this could be done cheaper if you really tried.

So not a cheap solution! but the quality is fantastic.

    Steve......I'll be texting you later

Yes. Kind of. Only mine has had bigger inlets and outlet fitted.
    Still ordered through LMF though.

In a few weeks time I'll be going back on the RR to see exactly what difference it makes.

Whats the purpose of the under tray? Is it for protection or to direct more cool air to IC.
