    Paper Shredders

    Abit random,

ok so a quick google and seems like there are so many of them now-a-days, i dont know what one to get.

so what paper shredder's does everyone have and would you reccommend it.

I wont be using is 24/7, and it will only be used on the odd bit of personal paperwork. but it will be nice to know that when i do use it, it works and works well.

    mike.

Just got a basic one, no idea what is it, but quite old now. Can only do about 2-3 sheets at a time, but TBH it works perfectly for what is needed.

my method consists of an old wheel barrow or something similar, and a match. maybe a drop of petrol to get it started, alot cheaper and can do lots at a time

I had a basic one which was fast and worked ok for years.

I've just bought one of those ones that shreds in 2 directions and its slow, noisy and can only take about 2 sheets at a time.

I just look to get a cross cutter and get one that can take a huge amount of sheets at a time as the less time I'm sitting there the better

Of absolutely no use to you but I've been using a fellows cross cutter and it kept clogging up over heating and shutting off until its cooled down. Piss poor design IMO as the motor has no way of circulating air to cool it down
    Its a jam thing
