    A Big Help Needed And Welome,

    hello , my other half has said she will give me her old ipod, which is the video 1, which i got her 3 years ago for £300, so i need to get me a new head unit, as the 1 iv got you carnt connect a ipod too it, if i can find 1 with the steering wheels control's and ipod connect, im looking to spend around £200/ £250 for the head unit, which is the best with the ipod,??? and i have a cd changer in my glove box, is there 1 out there that will do all this?????? , a very big thanks to any 1 that reply's with some infor.

    I guess you have the factory headunit and CD changer? If so no after market headunit will link to that changer

    You should be able to find a headunit that has ipod and steering wheel adaptor capability, bare in mind the steering wheel controls are about £40

    Alot of people will recomend Alpine. However have you thought about maybe having a bluetooth phone kit too? If so look at Sony headunits

    cheers for the reply, i have a very old panassoic head unit and cd changer, but that doesnt work with the s/wheel control's, and iv been told that i carnt fit a ipod to it, realy looking for a good ipod head unit with or with out a cd slot, but can connect my cd changer to it if pos, if not thats ok, as long as its a good ipod head unit,

    If you have a ipod, why do you still need your changer?

    Stop being a 1990's German ponce with a BMW (stereotypical view) and get modern

    Alpine is the way forward
