    cambelt worries

When i brought my car 2 year years ago it was in the service book that the cambelt was done at 40k.my cars on 59k now and the other week i started hearing a weering noise coming from the cambelt area.so i took it to my mates garage and sure enough he said i should get it all changed!so i had the belt, pullies and water pump all changed today, just caught it in time he said!.He reckons they may have just changed the belt or not even bothered doing that when it was supposed to have been done at 40k! Goes to show u car'nt always trust what a service book may say.
