    door panels

    2002 astra diesel 5dr... how do i remove the door panels for the front to replace the door speakers? thanks

    2 screws on the edge of the door where the catch is

    4 or 5 screws on the bottom edge

    need to remove the wingmirror cover on inside where tweeter goes or manual window stalk,

    remove the rubber bit along the top edge where widow goes

    remove cover from handle - just pulls off but is tight

    remove 3 screws under that and bingo

    lol my problem isnt on there.. replaced the front speakers this morning they sound ok.. only problem is my back doors. they have the window winders.. and i cant take them off to access my back door speakers.. please help!

    theres a special pin inbetween the winder and the door card that holds it on. The haynes manual does tell you a way to get it off but I resorted to buying a 'window winder removal tool' Draper make them so if you go on their site and look for a stockist near you then they'll prob order one for you, can't remember how much it was but it was only cheap.

    If i remember rightly the pin is like a u shape which wraps around the base of the winder which holds it on. You have to push the two ends outwards in order to release the handle. Arqward part is you can't see the pin lol

    lol to be honest i cant be asked waiting as i wanted my system complete this weekend so many thanx.. gonna give it a go in the morning
