    curious

tonight i had just nipped to the chippy and whilst sitting in my car eating them. some chav in his pimped out rover 200 was leaving the car park, however he couldnt leave it like a normal person he had to rag the ***k out of it and when he came to the corner, it just wouldnt slow or turn and he went straight in to the trolly park. i wet myself with laughter as he quickly reversed and got out the car park as quick as possible, whilst dragging his bumper. i noticed he stopped round the corner so i thought maybe he was injured so thought id go check on him. so started my car and just at normal speed round the same corner my car slid and almost ended up in the trolly park. after seeing him just pulling his bumper of and sticking it in his car i assumed he was ok. however it got me thinking does a road have to have a certain amount of grip on it ? cause that road is extremly slippy.

was it well worn tarmac, or was it slippery from another source, I.e engine oil or coolant, I doupt there are any regulations to say how grippy or slick a road surface has to be, and since its a carpark, i severely doupt they apply there anyway

hmmm, was it wet? because it could have been worn down, and so smooth, ok in the dry but like ice when its wet, i would contact the council or supermarket or who ever owns the carpark to see if the problem has been reported before and if they are going to do anything about it

some roads can tend to be quite greasy with the amount of traffic going over it over time and as it wears down, loses all texture and becomes smoothlike.
