    new vxr

hey guys. installing a new vxr turbo on my coupe. is there anything that must be done to the turbo before its fitted ?

should i also dive it without boosting it hard in the first few km's ?
so that the oil can lubricate all the turbo parts ?

    thanks.

put some oil in the turbo b4 fit the oil feed you will only get a cap ful in but it helps on the initial start up also are you doing oil and filter change too if so fill the oli filter up wiv oil and you know you got change the water pipe from the top to the side so it the same as the old let 1 ps leave the oil return pipe off from the block and run it til you get oil come through then turn off and refit it with 2 new banjo washers you shouldnt use any boost til thermostat has opened anyway so yes dont use any boost til then and dont rev it at all on tik over when cold
