Fronts are indeed 17cm, rears are 13cm as standard but to fit aftermarket speakers in there your looking at 10cm with the correct adaptor pods otherwise you can make your own ones up to fit 13cm

Not sure where your planning on fitting 6 x 9's but I doubt they will fit in either the front or back without hacking everything around alot

    What a daft statement.

How could speaker pods piss you off?

They screw into the door and make fitting aftermarket speakers about 20 times easier and your size has nothing to do with speaker pods!!!

How do they get in the way?

If you want 6*9's you'll have to mount them in the rear shelf.

do you know which pods i meant? i meant the pods that stick out all the way and that you can fit larger speakers in.. had them in a 306 and they kept gettin in the way and whacking my knee.. but then again that was for show

In the astra the door pods fit over the standard fitment and behind the door card. You wont have that problem
