    Falken tyres

Anyone tried them, I'm sure I've brought a car with them before and they served me well, just wondering if my memory is serving me well though

Or Hankook for that matter, might be getting mixed up

they're budget tyres mate! dont last very long and after a while, they are very poor in the wet!

fair play, thanks for the info. got michellin pilots on the front and dunlop sports on the back at the moment so guess I would be better off choosing something similar.

Falkens get a very good responce on a lot of forums. My folks have the old ZE512 on their Mazda, good gripping tyre but they didn't last long...

you'll certainly notice the difference (for the worst)! i've got michelin exalto2's on mine and also previously had a vectra b with 225/45/17s, michelin ps2's on the rear and continental sport contact2's on the front! stuck like s*** to a blanket!!

Loads of people on here use them (Falken 452), and always get good reviews.

Check this site out as well, they rate slightly higher than Michelin P2's and a lot higher than Conti sport contact2's

Iv'e always like the Kuhmo Escta sports, but after seeing nothing but good reviews for the Falkens i'm going to give them a bash for myself when current tyres are worn out.

I've just put Falken 452's on my coupe turbo after reading many a great review of them on various sites, grip well in wet and dry and last well also supposedly.
Also only around £70 a corner fitted for 215/40/17's so a bit of a bargain as well, sure are better than the parada spec 2's i had on before and the eagel f1's before that

Falken 452's are average in the dry but great in the wet (which is my preference for tyres). They are hard wearing. Had them on my coupe for 2 years and need to replace the fronts now.

I had Hankook's on my MK4 and they were brilliant in the dry. Didn't wear down quickly but weren't like plastic.

Forget it in the rain tho...
